I’m trying to understand where to find the publisher in a book, especially when checking different formats like paperback, hardcover, or old editions.

Which page should I look at first the title page, the copyright page, or somewhere else? Also, do publishers sometimes mention their info at the back of the book?

If anyone can share a simple method or checklist, it would be really helpful. Thanks
